Treatments & Services

  • Preventive Care: Cleanings, X-Rays, Exams

Professional dental cleanings are an important part of a program to prevent gum disease and help you keep your teeth for a lifetime.
We only take x-rays when necessary and we use the latest technology with digital x-rays to minimize radiation exposure.
New Patients are always welcome in our family dental practice! Even if it’s been awhile since you have seen a dentist, it’s never too late to get back on track to having a healthy, beautiful smile.

  • Periodontal Treatment

Periodontal disease ("gum" disease) is an infection and inflammation of the tissues and bone that hold teeth in place. If left untreated, periodontal disease can quickly progress and possibly lead to permanent damage and tooth loss. Treating gum disease in the early stages can help prevent tooth loss.

  • Invisalign

Invisalign retainers are custom made to fit every detail of your smile. Every Invisalign case requires a face-to-face appointment with an official Invisalign providing doctor. At our office, Dr. Matlock may use a combination of imaging, and impressions to facilitate the best results for each individual case. Depending on the complexities of a case, treatment can be completed within as little as 6 months.

  • Sealants

Sealants protect the vulnerable areas by sealing out plaque and food and acting as a barrier to prevent cavities. A sealant creates a smooth, easy to clean surface.

  • Fillings

Fillings are used to repair teeth that are affected by decay, cracks, or fractures. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth is removed and then filled with either a composite (tooth-colored) filling or amalgam (silver) filling. Each type of filling material has it’s own advantages and disadvantages. Dr. Stephenson is happy to discuss with you the best options for restoring your teeth.

  • Crowns, Bridges, Veneers

Crowns are used to restore teeth that have fractured or decayed when a filling is no longer an option. They are also used for cosmetic purposes when a patient would like to restore their smile with natural looking porcelain crowns that can reshape teeth to cover chips, stains, and old fillings. Crowns cover the entire visible surface of your tooth and add durability and strength.
Porcelain dental veneers are commonly used for cosmetic dentistry. Veneers can correct teeth imperfections including chips, stains, cracks, and misalignments.

  • Dental Implants

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth. The replacement tooth sits on the implant. They are used to replace one or more missing teeth without damaging the good, healthy surrounding teeth. Implants can also be used to help stabilize a removable partial or denture.

  • Whitening

Professional "In-Office" Whitening is the fastest, easiest way to whiten your teeth. It is a simple teeth whitening procedure performed by a dental professional in just one office visit, giving you immediate results for whiter and brighter teeth.
